Programmers: A great strategic advantage at your finger tips: Mscore™

Mscore™ is an index derived from calculating the switching that takes place on each song as judged against average switching that has taken place on the station in that time period. The Mscore can be downloaded into RCS’ GSelector so that music scheduling can be enhanced.

In conjunction with PPM from Media Monitor’s AUDIENCE REACTION™ platform, Mscore™ establishes a baseline value for normal switching activity on each station, then displays the switching on each song

against that long-term average. The result? An index score called Mscore™. This performance rating for each song is then displayed in an easy to read graph, based on week to week airplay and reaction. The four-week moving trend of switching activity determines the Mscore™ for every song. The value can be positive or negative; representing less or more switching.

Exclusively available through Media Monitors, Mscore™ provides insight from a totally new vantage point than traditional airplay measures.
